Sama Yehia
From the northern town of Zagazig, Sama obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts Department, Faculty of Specific Education from Zagazig University in 1999.
– Diploma in Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, 2000 and her PhD from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University in 2009.
She is a member of the Syndicate of Plastic Artists and has held several solo exhibitions begining with “The Narrator” Exhibition at “Rateb Sadeq” Hall, Atelier Cairo in 2012.
She also participated in the 13th International Expo Imaginna in the city of Reggio Emilia, Italy, with the artist Jamal Malika through (Ra Art Gallery) in Milan in 2011 among other international exhibitions and she is the recipient of the Jury Prize at the 14th San Valentino Festival for Young Artists – Italy 2012, the Senator Tancredi Paolo Cup at the 39th Martin Secor Festival of Contemporary Art – Italy 2012 as well as the Shield of the late Italian artist Giorgio Renaldini at the 40th Martin Secor Festival of Contemporary Art – Italy 2013 among others.
Her schupture graces the private collections of individuals across the Arab world, Italy and Canada and is included in the official collection of the
Museum of Modern Egyptian Art.
