From 2016 to 2018, Welad ElBalad local outlet ElNagaawiya in Nagaa Hamadi, Qena organised a Mothers Day celebration which recognized those selected by the local community. The team organized a committee which included local personalities to make the selection including the local Priest, the head of the Waqf Department and others. The awards were distributed at the WB office and cultural activities including poetry reading and music took place.
